Two Years Since Doman...

This photo was taken two years ago in July of 2007. I was just looking into starting a home child care business, which is when, in doing research for preschool activities at the library, I accidentally came across the Doman books.

These girls in our pool are our neighbors, the same ones Hunter plays with frequently, and I was babysitting them. The baby is Anthony. Isn't it amazing how much all four of them have grown?

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 4:14

Hunter is 4 years, 4 months old

  1. Congratulations on two years! That is amazing. It's neat to see pictures of youngn's when they were really young.

I found out about Doman while at the library also. I didn't start it right away (more like two years later)! I'm glad that I did, though. It is so neat to see other mothers who are interested in giving the best to their child/ren! :)

Have you thought more about the child care business, or do you have your hands full already?

  2. I enjoy your blog very much. (I'm thinking of starting one myself.) I came across something I thought you MIGHT me interested in. You can go here: https://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?fuseaction=publications.showPublications and request a FREE Dr. Seuss Lorax Activity Book plus, other FREE publications courtesy of Energy Star! Just enter the quantity you want for each publication and then add them to your cart. Allow 7-10 business days for delivery. I "ordered" 50 (remember they are free) and keeping one for myself and donating the rest to my public library. Here is the blog I found this on: www.hip2save.com I love that blog too since it helps be to be thrifty... and able to afford so much on one income. I'm a sahm and my husband recently had to take a pay cut (not unlike many American's today) and using her blog, I am able to cut my grocery bill into thirds if not more! She also has great freebies like the one above and just "deals" on the internet. You should check it out. I'm saving my free activity book for when we will be learning about energy...so for now, I'll file it away in our SCIENCE box. Thank YOU and again for all of your great tips and input!... Gina S
